Some pieces earn their place slowly. The Nordic LED Wall Sconce is one of them: a wall light defined by a slim aluminium body in white, black or silver that washes light along the wall, made to sit in a space you already love rather than take it over.

Underneath the styling is honest making. The body is aluminium with LED source, finished to stand up to daily handling rather than occasional display. Single wall light, and each one is inspected and packed with care before dispatch.

Made for stairs, corridors, bathrooms and bedsides, it moves happily between rooms as your space evolves. Cleaning is simple - a soft dry cloth, no abrasives - and it arrives protected in its box, ready to use or to hand over as a present. Full specifications are listed below, so you can check the details before ordering rather than after. Part of the Luma Living range of everyday home pieces, selected for how they actually live in a room rather than how they look in a catalogue. We keep the Luma Living collection deliberately tight, so everything here is something we would put in our own homes. It sits comfortably alongside the rest of the Luma Living collection if you are building a look one piece at a time.

  • Included: Single wall light
  • Best for: stairs, corridors, bathrooms and bedsides

A line of light on the wall

Rather than a spot, this washes light along the wall, which makes a hallway or staircase feel considered instead of just lit.

Slim enough to disappear

The aluminium body sits close to the wall, so it never catches a shoulder in a narrow space.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of light does it give?

A soft wash along the wall rather than a focused spot, which is what gives stairs and hallways that layered look.

Which finish should I choose?

White disappears into a plastered wall, black adds contrast on a pale wall, and silver suits cooler, more industrial schemes.

Where does it work best?

Staircases, hallways and beside a bed, anywhere you want light without a fixture that dominates.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

It suits general home use. For a bathroom, check the fitting placement against your local zone requirements first.

How far does it stick out from the wall?

Very little. The slim aluminium profile is designed to sit close to the wall so it never gets in the way in a corridor.
