Email and our Contact page are the fastest ways to reach us, and both are monitored on business days. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1–2 business days. If you need our postal details for a formal or legal purpose, please ask by email and we will provide them.
2. VAT
Luma Living is not currently registered for VAT. No VAT is charged on our sales and no VAT element is included in our prices. The price shown against a product is the total price payable for that item; delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout before you pay. We do not issue VAT invoices, though a full receipt is available for every order on request.
3. Site Hosting & Technology
This website is hosted and operated on the Shopify commerce platform. Payments are processed by regulated third-party payment providers, and card details are handled by those providers rather than by us. 5. Contracts & Record Keeping
All contracts are concluded in English, and all prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Orders are placed electronically through the checkout on this website; the technical steps involved are the standard basket, address, delivery and payment stages, and you are able to review and correct your order at each stage before confirming it.
We retain a record of your order, and you will receive an order confirmation and a dispatch confirmation by email. Please keep these for your records — a contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation, as set out in our Terms of Service.
6. Product Safety & Compliance
Products sold on this site are intended for ordinary domestic use in the United Kingdom and are supplied to meet the safety requirements applicable to consumer goods sold in the UK. Where a product carries safety markings, instructions, a rating plate or warnings, these are supplied with the item and must be followed.
Our Terms of Service set out important safety conditions in full, and you should read them before use — in particular the sections covering mains-powered lighting and the requirement that hard-wired fittings are installed by a suitably qualified or competent person, wall-mounted items and fixings, fragile glass and ceramic pieces, food-contact items, and the disposal of electrical goods and batteries.
If you believe a product you have received is unsafe, stop using it immediately and contact us straight away by email.

We take care to keep the content of this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or up to date at all times. Prices, availability, specifications and imagery may change without notice.
We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or free from faults. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the site for business or operational reasons, and we will give reasonable notice of any planned suspension where we can. You are responsible for making sure your own device, connection and security arrangements are suitable for accessing the site.

12. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. Email lumalivinghome@gmail.com with “Complaint” in the subject line and your order number if you have one. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and to resolve them within 14 days, and we will explain our reasoning if we cannot agree with you.
If we cannot resolve matters between us, you can seek free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service, or contact your local Trading Standards service. You may also be able to refer the dispute to an approved alternative dispute resolution provider. Nothing here prevents you from taking court action.

13. Governing Law
This notice, and your use of this website, are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes may be brought in the Scottish courts.
