The Gold Hammered Globe Table Lamps 2 Pack does one thing properly. It is a table lamp designed around a hand-hammered gold ceramic globe topped with a tapered green velvet drum shade, and that focus is exactly why it works so well in an everyday setting.

Materials matter more than styling here: hammered ceramic with velvet shade, chosen because it wears well rather than because it photographs well. Every piece is checked before it leaves us, and small variations in finish are part of the material, not a fault in it. Pair of lamps, 26cm high, E14 bulb required, so you know exactly what arrives.

Put it to work with bedside tables, desks and sideboards. Style it on its own for a cleaner look, or group it with what you already own for something warmer. A soft dry cloth is all the upkeep it needs, and it comes packed well enough to give as a gift straight from the box. Full specifications are listed below, so you can check the details before ordering rather than after. Part of the Luma Living range of everyday home pieces, selected for how they actually live in a room rather than how they look in a catalogue. We keep the Luma Living collection deliberately tight, so everything here is something we would put in our own homes.

  • Material: hammered ceramic with velvet shade
  • Included: Pair of lamps, 26cm high, E14 bulb required
  • Best for: bedside tables, desks and sideboards
  • Style: Green Velvet Shade Retro Desk Lamp
  • Care: wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth

Dimensions and care

Dimensions

  • Overall: 16D x 16W x 26H cm

Dimensions are as stated by the manufacturer and are measured by hand, so please allow a small tolerance. On sets, the figure refers to the largest piece.

Hammered ceramic with velvet shade. Weight: 0.63 kg. Colour, tone and finish vary slightly from piece to piece — that is the material, not a fault.

In the box

Pair of lamps, 26cm high, E14 bulb required.

Care

  • Switch off at the mains and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Battery and cordless pieces should have their cells removed first.
  • Wipe the fitting with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water, solvents or abrasive cleaners on any electrical part.
  • Indoor domestic use only unless the description says otherwise. Never exceed the stated wattage or fit a bulb type the fitting is not rated for.

Hammered by hand, catches every light

The hammered surface picks up light in dozens of small points, so the base glows even when the lamp is off.

Velvet, because it deserves it

A green velvet drum shade is a deliberate choice. It makes the gold read as considered rather than shiny.

Frequently asked questions

How tall are the lamps?

Each lamp stands 26cm high, a neat scale for bedside tables, sideboards and shelves where a full size lamp would be too much.

What bulb do they need?

They take a small screw fit E14 bulb, which is a very common size and easy to replace with a warm dimmable option.

Is the gold bright or muted?

It is a vintage toned gold with a hammered texture, so it reads warm and antique rather than bright and metallic.

What colour scheme do they suit?

They sit beautifully with cream, walnut, deep green and charcoal. The velvet shade is what ties the gold into darker schemes.

Are they heavy enough to stay put?

Yes. The ceramic base gives them a low steady weight that keeps them stable on a narrow bedside table.
