The Kitchen Cabinet Plate Drying Rack is a kitchen piece built around baked-paint iron dividers that hold plates on edge so water runs off and cupboards stay tidy. It is the kind of piece that changes a room quietly, without asking for attention, and it settles in wherever you decide to put it.

Construction is straightforward: baked-paint iron, finished carefully and put together to last. Small and large sizes. Because natural materials vary slightly from batch to batch, no two pieces are ever quite identical, which is part of the appeal.

Most people use theirs for cabinets, countertops and draining boards, and it suits a mix of interiors from minimalist to warm and layered. Dust with a soft dry cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners, and it will keep looking as good as the day it arrived. It also makes a genuinely usable housewarming gift. If you are styling a whole room, it pairs easily with neutral textiles, warm wood and soft ambient lighting. Full specifications are listed below, so you can check the details before ordering rather than after. Part of the Luma Living range of everyday home pieces, selected for how they actually live in a room rather than how they look in a catalogue.

  • Material: baked-paint iron
  • Included: Small and large sizes
  • Best for: cabinets, countertops and draining boards
  • Style: Countertop Dish Organiser
  • Care: wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth

Frequently asked questions

How many plates does it hold?

It takes a everyday stack of dinner plates on edge, with the dividers keeping them separated so air moves between them.

Will it fit inside my cabinet?

It is sized for standard kitchen cabinets and drawers, so measure your shelf depth once and it should slide straight in.

Does the iron rust?

The baked paint finish is applied specifically to resist kitchen humidity, so it holds up far better than bare metal.

Can I use it on a countertop instead?

Yes. Many people keep it on the counter beside the sink as a drainer and move it into a cupboard later.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Avoid abrasive scourers so the baked finish stays intact.
